If you would prefer to meet with your attorney “virtually” over the Internet (as opposed to “in-person” or on the telephone), we now provide a way to do so. This service is free of charge and confidential.
What do I need to do to participate in a virtual meeting using Teams?
To participate in a virtual meeting using Teams you will need to do the following:
Install the Teams app (it’s FREE!)
You will need to install the Teams app on the device that you will be using to join the meeting. This device could be your phone, your computer, your tablet, etc.
Test your audio and video
If you are not comfortable with managing the sound and video on your device, you can test them prior to participating in your first virtual court appearance using Teams.
Join the Teams meeting scheduled by the Court
The Court will send you a link to join a Teams meeting for your virtual court appearance. You should understand what happens once you click the link.
What do I need to do to participate in a virtual meeting using Zoom?
There are many ways to join a meeting, but the easiest way is to click the join link that the meeting host provided. You can also click Join in your Zoom client and enter the meeting ID.
Each meeting has a unique 9, 10, or 11-digit number called a meeting ID that will be required to join a Zoom meeting
If you are joining via telephone, you will need the teleconferencing number provided in the invite.
